Lis Wihl (born on 19 August 1961) was an American writer and lawyer who was employed by Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, previously an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She's also provided legal comments for Bill O'Reilly's radio show as well as National Public Radio. She appeared regularly of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, and grew up at Yakima located in Washington State, graduated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree at the age of 33 in. In 1985 she received the Master of Arts Degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded the Juris Doctorate at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She was a legal reporter on NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "the deputy chief investigator for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." She taught law as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle which she was the manager of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 to 2001. The analyst was with Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
