Allison Stokke one of the pole vaulters with the most riches in the world was born on 22 March, 1989 Newport Beach California United States. The Pole Jumper became popular in 2007 after she saw a photograph of her at her track event was posted when she was 17. Instagram and Twitter have become her biggest social media outlets. Stokke is well-known as a sportsperson in track and field, similar as Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times and others have noted that Stokke was not one to seek out or seek out such attention. The authors of their work Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society Brett Hutchins and David Rowe linked Stokke's case to that of American soccer players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo female athletes who were fetishized and were seen as having their images framed sexually in a way which, according to the authors, diminished their achievements in sports. Regarding Stokke they also pointed out the fact that online comments were frequently insulting in nature and blamed the process of sexualization on the women themselves. A few of them drew parallels to Brandi Chastain's appearance at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup celebrations in her sports bra, where the sporting successes of women were obscured by discussions over their appearance. Photos of Stokke performing on the track in New York in early 2007 were captured by a reporter for a Californian track and field website and posted online. With Leather sports blog, that has a large male fan base published the image in May. The article was titled Pole Vaulting is Almost Legal and criticized Stokke's sexuality. Matt Ufford was threatened by the photographer that he would take legal action if he did not delete the photo. However, the article, received significant media attention and was then shared on dozens of websites. Stokke owned a website dedicated to her with images depicting her in the pole-vault.
