Chamberlain said that her family was dependent on her father's artwork and they faced "hard times" after he died. She was a student at Central Middle School in San Carlos, California, and Notre Dame High School, Belmont,[9] an all-girl Catholic preparatory school in which she was part of the track and cheerleading teams. For five years she was a cheerleader as well as was a part of the California All Stars Pink cheer team. Her age was 10. junior year at high school and was able to pass the California High School Exit Exam. [11]
