Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2010 after her hit singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed attracted the attention of the public. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding's soprano quirk and capacity to create catchy and deeply honest songs place her on the frontline of contemporary mainstream music in addition to an independent and artful pop. Polydor Records offered her a contract as major label. The singer began to work on her preparations for her release.
