Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28 1998 located in Los Angeles California) is an American actress, singer and vocalist. Ariel Winter started her career as an actress when she was just a few years old, appearing in the Cool Whip advertisement when she was only six years old. At the age of 7 Ariel landed her first TV appearance in an episode on CBS's popular sitcom, Listen Up! In the following years she was a part of the likes of Monk Bones or ER. Gretchen was a part of Disney Original Channel's animated series Phineas and Ferb as of 2007. She had her breakthrough live-action role as Alex Dunphy in the hit TV show Modern Family two years later. With the cast from Modern Family she received the Screen Actors Guild Award in four different years for the Best ensemble Comedy Series. Ariel continues to do voice acting and voice acting, including characters like ParaNorman Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel is a purple belt in Taekwondo. She is the sister of the actors Shanelle Workman & Jimmy Workman. She is also a talented musician, and has a band WickedSweet. She is also involved with charities that promote greener living.
